Reversion was recorded immediately following months of being on the road. Before leaving for that tour, I was struggling to find direction, both in and outside music. Reversion carries some of the answers I've found, being a direct reflection to my experiences while traveling. It also documents a new way of viewing the studio, treating each instrument as a modular piece to the reconstructed whole. Each track was recorded in a single take on vintage analog/modular synthesizers and an assortment of processors, each song utilizing its own unique system/patch.
